In 2008, The Vineyard Church here in Kenner entered into a long-term partnership with Vineyard Boise and Vineyard Church of Columbus in an effort to come along side local Vineyard Churches in Zambia, Africa to see long term transformation and to see the Kingdom of God fully present within the life of this country. Whether its building deep water wells and biosand filters with Seeds of Hope International, training lay leaders at the local churches, or simply praying for the sick and the marginalized, we long to see the Kingdom of God break in and renew this little part of the world. Conferences, Lepers, VBS

We are currently in Atlanta, minutes away from boarding our LONG flight to South Africa. Our flight from Nola to Atlanta was smooth, and quick. According to Shawn, the trip gets much easier with that hour out of the way. I hope you felt the sarcasim. :)

We plan to arrive in South Africa tomorrow evening, and then travel by bus to Zambia. Arriving at our final destination in Zambia Sunday afternoon.

Here are the upcoming events (since we won't have internet access for a few days):
Monday morning our plans are to drive 8 hours to Kasempa. Rest. Tuesday we will be holding a pastor conference for about 60 pastors/leaders. Rob and Shawn will be doing the teaching. We will also be holding a VBS for the children. Wednesday we will be going to the leper colony to bring supplies. Rich is also going to speak. After speading time at the colony, we will be driving back to Ndola for the next portion of the trip.

Please pray for safe travels - for we will be traveling on a bus for 8 hours at a time. Pray that God would speak through Rob, Shawn, and Rich through their teachings.
