In 2008, The Vineyard Church here in Kenner entered into a long-term partnership with Vineyard Boise and Vineyard Church of Columbus in an effort to come along side local Vineyard Churches in Zambia, Africa to see long term transformation and to see the Kingdom of God fully present within the life of this country. Whether its building deep water wells and biosand filters with Seeds of Hope International, training lay leaders at the local churches, or simply praying for the sick and the marginalized, we long to see the Kingdom of God break in and renew this little part of the world. This blog is a place where you can join us as we seek to accomplish this mission.

Team Stories

"It was such a God moment when we pulled up to the Compassionate Vineyard in Kasempa and the leaders were inside worshiping. The sound was so beautiful. I was amazed at how well they harmonized together. It did not matter that I did not know the words; worship is worship no matter where you are." - Ana Rich


"The children in Kasempa were truly amazing! Being my first missions trip, and not truly knowing what to expect, I was blown away. I've never seen kids so excited. Just something as a touch or a smile meant everything to them. God is truly working in this place." - David Gooch


"We have come over 10,000 miles to pray fro the sick, bring clean water to the people and encourage them. Although, we came to give, we have received from them.     Prayerfully, through the graces given by the good works of churches like The Vineyard, we (Americans) will learn what following Christ is really all about............
